WHY NOW!?

I am writing this first post for me. Even if no one else reads it that is fine, it is for me. The reason I am doing this for me is to finally put my writing skills to test. I am by no means a writer, and any grammar police out there will definitely cringe at some of my writing. BUT I think despite that, I am some good, positive, interesting, and helpful things to share. This blog is just an overview of all the things in my life that I think are worth sharing. My ideas, my work resources, my creative outlets, my recipes, my lifestyle hacks and of course my thoughts (which by all means, take or leave my opinions). So, why now? While my age was creeping up to 30 I was always the person that was unbothered by the number, and I still am. I remember as a kid thinking 30 was SO OLD, and I'd have SO MUCH accomplished by then, and of course accomplished only pertained to a husband and kids, duh, right? But here I am, no traditional husband, and no kids. I have a loving boyfriend and a classroom full of 7 year olds, does that count as accomplished? For whatever reason, without the title = doesn't count in most eyes, but I challenge that. I have accomplished so much in my twenties, and am SO ready to embark on this new journey and all the amazing things that I know thirty has in store for me. Making the decision to document and share was a big one for me. I have always loved to write, especially when it was writing about things that I cared about. I was the kid (and now adult) that LOVED/S stationary. Homesense, your stationary aisle is the first one I check (and you get me at the register aisle too). I was always journaling, listing, brainstorming, and documenting on paper. Making the jump from journalling to blogging may not work out, and I'm okay with that. But I wanted to try to share some of my life with others, and you can't share from inside a trendy notebook (but I will still use them for brainstorming, obv).
